New Locomotive for Como

The Como Roundhouse welcomed a new locomotive this morning


Plymouth Diesel5 arrives in Como. No. 5 was last at the Huckelberry RR in Michigan . The South Park Rail Society has leased the locomotive from McHugh Locomotive


No.5 poses by the roundhouse. This is the second Plymouth locomotive to be in Como (the scrapper used a Plymouth to tear up the track in 1938) and the first Diesel to ever show its face in Como. (the scrapper's locomotive was a gas mechanical)


Klondike Mines No. 4 and Diesel No. 5. No. 5 is a 12 ton Plymouth, it will be a great switcher as it will fit on the turntable with a car and will make pulling No. 4 out and putting it away much easier!
