C&TSRR Turkey
I was down in the railroad (C&TSRR) yard South and East of the shop, about 200 yards from the heron Rookery (I counted 8 Heron at the Heron Rookery) by the river following fox tracks so I can find out where the den is they will be using to have and raise pups this year. I heard some turkeys so I backed off and sat down in a bush and waited. The male showed up in a little clearing. The girls never did show themselves. If any of you plan on checking out this area I suggest you wait a while so it has time to dry some. standing water all over and underneath it is mud that is like quick sand.
