A bad wreck occurred on Cumbres Wednesday morning when train 115, drawn by three engines, crashed into the rear end of the flanger train, which had stopped to take the siding at that point. Superintendent Deuel’s private mess car, which was on the rear of the flanger train was piled up on top of engine 408, and the caboose was somewhat demolished. Engine 408 was badly torn up, but luckily, no one was hurt.
