The ML Co. reactivated a log flume that came down from Barlow Creek in 1940 to carry logs and paper wood. Has anyone ever seen a photo of it where it dumped logs into a pond near MP 60 at Timber? It was built by the Colorado Spruce Lumber Co. that was part of the New Mexico Lumber Co., later Montezuma Lumber Co., of McPhee. The RGS ran blocks of logs from Timber to McPhee where they were trucked to Gallop and shipped to a Arizona plywood mill to make knotty panels plywood. It was just below the Dunton road where photos could have been taken, but none have ever been seen. Can anyone help?
