Loop's 2010 Schedule - 2 simultaneous trains daily, Thursdays thru Mondays!

The schedule lists both diesel and steam trips - kudos to the new operator for this! Adult fares for the diesel-powered trains are $22.50 ($30.50 with mine tour) while adult fares for the steam-powered trains are $29.50 ($37.50 with mine tour).

Steam trains will run on weekends, holidays, Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays -- steam will not be running on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Diesel trains will run seven days a week, so apparently we'll be seeing two trains each day (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Personally, I think that is quite cool. AFAIK, the WP&Y and East Broad Top (during the Fall Spectaculars) are the only other places in North America where you can see a narrow gauge steam-powered train meeting a narrow gauge diesel-powered train.
