SP18 UPCOMING OPERATIONS

Okay now that the NASCAR race is over for the day its time for a reminder about some upcoming trips for the #18:

March 5th and April 9th.

Both of these trips are Cascade turns that are available to ride. These are not photo trains in the sense that there will be scheduled run byes. That said these trips are VERY reasonably priced and are currently up for sale on the D&SNG website

I would highly suggest that if you are in the market for a true photo trip to sign up for the Pete Lerro charter on May 1-2 and help make it happen as this will likely be the only opportunity for a true photo excursion.

All of these trips with #18 while on the D&SNG do have a financial benefit to the Carson Colorado and will directly help with #18's ongoing upkeep when it returns to California. I would strongly suggest if you have any interest in seeing #18 really working to ask your significant other and your boss for a couple days off to come to Durango. Other than at its home base in Independence, there are no plans for any operations of the #18 outside of its current duties in Durango.
