Blizzard on the High Line

Yesterday's "Ultimate Railfan Trip" on the D&S featuring SP 18 and the Goose was adversely affected by snow that began falling the morning and just never stopped. With Tank Creek out of reach, the proceedings were restricted by SP 18's small tender and thirsty saturated steam appetite for water. But a series of snow-filled runby's were still achieved on the High Line, including the bonus passage of the flanger extra on the way back from Cascade.
