I have seen occasional references in various NGDF threads to a "sheep dip" track in the Chama "swamp". I understand about sheep getting dipped to kill off parasites, but didn't quite understand what that had to do with the railroad. (Somehow running loaded carloads of sheep though a "dip" didn't seem too practical.)
So .... I found some photos of the Chama 'sheep dip' facility on the Friends site:

As you can see, the sheep walked single file through a trough tank, obviously not while in a stock car, but clearly close to the tracks.
