477 With the San Juan

Sorry for the delay in posting photos, classes have been taking alot of my time.
The back of this photo reads "Near Cresco, NM with #116 "San Juan" 5 Cars 15 mph July 2, 1941 R.H. Kindig"
I would bet this is upgrade due to the smoke and would this be one of the last runs for the 477 on the D&RGW? I can't remember if the K-28's went north in 1941 or 1942...
