484 in Durango 1966

Some time ago I posted a black and white of 484 taking water at Gato in 1966. This is the beginning of that day in Durango. 484 is backing toward its train....note the brakeman waiting. The train was the square water car you see next to the brakeman, plus a water car that looks more like a tank car(maybe a rotary water car) and a caboose. This and the Gato shot were made into 5 x 7's years ago, and I just ran across them and had my wife scan then for me. I have some other shots of this train, but not printed. I must find the negs and do something with them. I know there is a nice shot at Allison among others. This was the extent of our D&RGW freight action on our 1966 trip. We were more fortunate in 1967 and 1968.
