I visited Knott's Berry Farm yesterday (Tuesday Sept 18). I have an annual pass and retired a few months ago. I wanted to see the Park when it was not full of people. School was back in session, so most of the visitors were senior citizens or families with per-schoolers,
Being an "off" day the ex-RGS Goose was running. And I had a chance to ride it for the first time.
The 0-4-0T "Old Betsy" near the blacksmith shop had its cars full of pumpkins for this season -- first for Halloween and then probably for Thanksgiving. The park was decorated for Halloween with representation of spiderwebs and skeletons and the like.
