Backed balance of train into Gray’s. Engine 497 took 2 head cars to Marshall Pass. ALK with jacks and section men going back to derailment to attempt to get car into clear or turn it over.” (later) “ALK arrived at derailed car at MP 236 at 10:15 PM. Main track cleared at 12 midnight - jacked car to side of track, car is pretty bad shape, will probably junk car when weather is better. Carlin had to go back to Mears Jct for water. Weather Marshall Pass 3:05 AM 3/6/45 snowing and blowing bad.”)
