The 70 and 192 will operate this coming season with the 192 down for awhile to get some running gear work and some other miscellaneous things. The #1 and #4 drivers were dropped over the last couple of weeks to get the lateral on the boxes built up after some significant wear, especially on the #1. Both locomotives recently passed their state boiler inspection and the 70 will be fired up for test runs and training within the next couple of weeks. Pictures to come soon...
Also for anyone that was curious, the 70 is back to it's proper appearance with the headlight mounted above the smoke box. Last year for a time that was not the case...
