The CRRM Annaul #24 says D&RG #12 was built in 1885 by Billmeryer & Small in 1876; then renumbered to 256 in 1885. The D&RGW Shops rebuilt it in 1905.
Was it converted to a work car at some point? or simply abandoned?
It may have been at Colorado Railroad Museum; now it is reported at Antonito; but not listed on the C&TS car roster.
Anyone have any further information or future plans for the Coach body?
