Operable Two Foot Gauge Locomotives in the US

January 02, 2018 07:41AM avatar
How many operable two foot gauge locomotives are there in the US, and how many are being returned to operation for service?

This is what I can think of off the top of my head.

Currently Operating:
Bucksgahuda & Western Henschel 0-4-0T Otto
Bucksgahuda & Western two truck homebuilt Shay
WW&F 7
Monson RR 3

New Builds and Restorations underway:
WW&F No. 10
WW&F No. 11
J&LNG No. 58
B&SR No. 7
Henschel 0-4-0T for Silver Dollar City

I don't know enough about the Cripple Creek & Victor and Silver Dollar City to know what is operating at those two locations.

Are there more two footers out there that run or are being restored?
