For the heck of it I decided to enter locomotive into the search box at the USGS. It came back with several hits including a toppled 4-4-0 during a 1880s Charleston earthquake, loading a wood burning locomotive and etc. I found this scene of a sand company that would make an interesting model. Slope backed tender, wooden cars and a huge wooden structure. Neat stuff, thanks for posting the link.
