315 origins

I wanted to confirm the origins of the #315. The Narrow gauge Pictorial lists the #315 as coming from the F&CC #3 in 1917 and it was numbered D&RG #425, later to be numbered D&RGW #315. Would this picture in fact be the #315 as #425?
This is an Otto Perry shot from the DPL and is dated 1918. If it is the #315 why is it painted for the C&S and how long was it painted for the C&S?
In addition, another source listed the #315 as coming from F&CC #3, but was numbered D&RG #424. Was it originally #425 or #424?
