Here's a couple new frame renders. After I added bolt holes, the polygon count was getting pretty high so I've spent some time reducing polys and learning a lot of basic 3D safe modeling practices.
Using a clean white shader allows me to spot some little flaws to fix: uncreased edges, vertices (points) out of place (not on same plane), etc. Later, I'll use realistic shaders - everything from freshly shopped new paint to dead-line rusting metal.
I still need to clean up the frame extensions, and incorporate some slight variations between the left and right sides. The bolts need grip-nuts as well. Then on to binders, driving boxes, crossties, footplates, cylinder saddle, . . .
