The Durango Railroad Historical Society Board and the volunteer crew of 315 would like to thank the Cumbres and Toltec RR and the C&TS Commission for hosting the locomotive during the 2016 operating season. 315 has been in Chama since August 24. This weekend the volunteer crew will be preparing the locomotive for a trip to Antonito on Tuesday November 8. The volunteers will winterize the engine and 315 will spend the winter in a stall with 168. We developing plans to operate 315 next year with the C&TS and we greatly appreciate the support of the Railroad and the Commission by hosting 315 and providing an opportunity for her to stretch her legs. We would especially like to thank the staff of the C&TS for all their valuable assistance and training of our volunteer crew this past year.
