After a quick search here yielded nothing, I decided to post a new topic.
While searching through pics of mine, I studied the different colors of targets currently on the C&TS. This is what I have deduced...
If 2 targets, and the colors are:
Red and Green - in yards, main line
ONLY, Red shows for switch thrown to siding, Green shows in favor of the main line
Green and yellow - in yards, switches
NOT on the main line, Green for current path, yellow for side track...
If one target:
Anywhere on ROW, Red showing means switch thrown for siding (or diverging track)...
Question 1, Is this correct for common C&TS practices, and was this adopted from D&RGW, or was the Rio Grande Different?
Question 2, I have seen single targets in yards, and dual targets out of yards, was there a common practice, or was it more pot luck...
Question 3, Were there different setups for Junctions, and other scenarios?
