Golden Roundhouse

Lets see if this follows the typical post.......
Anyway, I was looking around at photos of original roundhouses and ran across this photo of the original Golden Colorado roundhouse. Of course my question is which of the two halves of the roundhouse are the original ? The two halves couldn't be more different. Is the false front concrete? Anybody have drawings?
