250 ton SG cranes for sale.

Hi,

I saw three 250 ton cranes for sale over on RYPN.

They do not fit the C&TS obviously.

As a thought experiment only, I was wondering if a NG track could be laid parallel to the old dual gauge mainline. With a SG crane on either end of a SG flat car, how difficult would loading or unloading a NG loco from a SG flat car be? I'm wondering how far off centerline the cranes could hold a load without excessive danger to toppling over.
