I'm new around here but I have been interested in narrow gauge railways for well over 40 years. I recently came across 2 archives on the internet, the Baldwin negatives at the Railroad museum of Pennslyvania, and the BLW engine specifications on the Central Universities Libraries site; there is a tremendous amount of interesting stuff there, but there was a negative of a machine built for a Cuban sugar mill which particularly intrigued me. According to the RR Museum of PA site it was built in 1906, but I cannot find a reference to it in the engine specs of the period. I found a larger picture of it here
Baldwin steam car It looks as if a small tank engine broke loose in the tender shop at Baldwin. As I can't find a spec for it, I can't be sure that it is narrow gauge, though most Cuban sugar lines were, or indeed still are. Does anyone have any definite information?
