Reefer madness (link)

The Durango Railroad Historical Society (DRHS) has been busy restoring a "fleet" of D&RGW cars this summer. Reefer #39 is getting 4’-8” archbar trucks fabricated while #54 will be used for parts storage in Silverton.
Grant funding from History Colorado only covers 75% of the stock car rebuilds and several other car restorations so additional funds are urgently needed to get these cars completed per the grant deadline.
