As a brief side project, I've been working on some history of the railroads at Pioche, Nevada, mostly looking for a connection that the steel ore cars of Eureka Hill Railway in central Utah, were sold to the Pioche Pacific.
I started researching to develop a common timeline between the two companies, and one thing led to another, and I ended up doing some considerable research, especially in online sources that Myrick and Robertson may not have had access to, especially in online newspapers.

I note in Robertson that after the sale of the Pioche Pacific to Bristol Silver Mines in 1930, there remained 3.5 miles of owned and operated Pioche Pacific. Without realizing it, and noting that the Hill Line was only 1.9 miles, I found the other 1.6 miles of line out in the valley to the Raymond & Ely Extension, and another undocumented loadout, a bit further south.
