We have exciting news! The Caboose has turned a wheel for the first time in many years. After more preparations of the journal surface it was decided to move the caboose back and forth to limber it up. It was also discovered that it has a brand new wheel set under one end. We are beginning to determine the best manner in which to move to caboose to the restoration site, we welcome any suggestions. We are also in the process or making a complete mechanical and structural survey of the caboose which will be made public at a later date. Lastly, we are in the process of acquiring our 501(c)(3) status, so future donations will be tax deductible. We thank you for your continued support in our endeavor to preserve Colorado & Southern history.
