Most of the business housed at Chama are now equipped with fire extinguishers.
An immense amount of snow has fallen in the Cumbres mountains during the past two weeks, and the farmers and stockmen of the country are rejoicing.

The new round house and machine shops of the D. & R.G. railroad at Chama were opened to the inspection of the public a few days ago. Much of the reconstruction and repair work of the San Juan division will here after be done at the Chama shops.
