question for christensenge

I didn't want to steal the post regarding speeds, so will ask this question of christensenge here:

You mentioned a book, "Namib Narrow Gauge" by Moir and Chrittenden.
Was the first name of Moir Joe? I ask because I knew him and he passed just a short few years ago. He was a real historian and did have an affinity for NG. I met him in 1967 when he was operating a speeder and giving rides on Pickering Lbr. Corp. between Lyons Dam & Twain Harte, CA. I'm glad that I had the foresight to take his picture. We met again years later at a luncheon for NWP retirees and he remembered the trip.
