My own Cumbres station plans (ruff drapht)

Heres a quick snippit of my drawing of the Cumbres station, thanks to ROW Explorer and Chris Walker. As stated, just a rough draft, which means both drawing and beer!!



The side marked "Passenger" faced the North, and the current main line. Most all pictures I have seen of the San Juan, she stopped on this side. The other side marked "Freight" faced the old ROW to the South. This side seems to be where the Cumbres Turns were parked for assembly before the trip down hill. As far as I can tell, this is fairly close to the layout at the end of the depot. The very early version did not have windows on the Antonito end in the "warehouse" (lower left drawing) and possibly the other end was blank as well.
