I hope to spend some time on the C&TS and the D&S this fall, with side visits to Mesa Verde and perhaps up to Ouray. There's a chance I'll be spending one night in or near Pagosa Springs.

I've stopped for dinner in Pagota Springs a few times over the years but have never stayed there.

Can anyone recommend a motel or hotel? Is it worth making an effort to stay at a place with access to hot springs? Or if I'm going to Ouray, should I just plan on going to the hot springs there?

Any and all advice much appreciated.
