I wanted to confirm what I believe to be the correct lens color used on D&RGW marker lights (during the modern era...post 1920s). And I'm assuming the colors used were universal to both standard and narrow gauge.
Here's what I think is right...please correct me where wrong:
Red rear facing lens. Amber side and front facing lenses.
A new caboose model has this set up (at least from what I can tell...haven't seen one in person yet):
Red rear facing lens, Amber side lenses, and Green forward facing
Which set up is correct?
As a side question, was the same color system used on passenger car markers? I would think so since the markers likely were interchangeable.
Any clarification is greatly appreciated.
