....not around them. This picture has always reminded me of Andy Payne's parody of the DRGW slogan "Through the Rockies not around them". In September 1965 a Silverton branch work train waddles through the weeds toward Hermosa. This stretch has since been raised, ballasted, and the 70 lb rail replaced with 90.
