“Work extra 375 with ditcher OX two foreman 14 laborers worked on Twin Slides 7:00 AM to 6:25 PM, now 65 per cent clear, will work ditcher until noon tomorrow and have slide in shape to buck out, may get to Silverton tomorrow PM, suggest run crew and engine out Durango 9:30 AM to get ditcher and outfit and take to Durango as ditcher needs some repairs. Will need our crew and engines 375-459 to clear Silverton yard Thursday, then move outfits and when we can handle to Durango will need same power for day or two cleaning up loads in and out Silverton, ….can get together and arrange when power can be spared, send an engine watchman from Durango as watchman we have will go with ditcher.”
