Hi all, I have a question involving the extent of the dual gauge trackage in Antonito. How far south of the depot did the dual track extend down the Santa Fe Branch (Chilli Line)?, was there a "end of standard gauge sign" similar to the one on the line to Chama?, was the wye dual gauge as well(i have assumed it was) and if so at what point did the narrow gauge rails swap sides? I have researched many pictures but all are limited to the area immediately surounding the depot and water tank. I can see that the dual tracks extended to the siding and appears to go as far as the wye as im sure standard gauge trains would need to atleast need enough room to turn the engine. In the yard area around the depot looking south the left rail is the common rail so if the wye was dual gauge then at some point the common rail would have to swap from left to the right side placing it again on the left side coming out of the wye headed west to Chama. Thanks for any
assistance in this matter.
