Passing of another Old Time SVRR member

For those of you who remember Norm and Loraine Myers, I just received the following e-mail:

Hi Cindy,
There are a few of the SVRR members who knew and worked with Loraine
years ago and, if you can, would you let Dale and Mike and the others
know that Loraine passed away last Friday morning. Her funeral is set
for this coming Friday at 2 p.m. at McEwen Bible Fellowship church here
in the valley.

Her cancer had come back--more than we were aware. Hospice was a great
help.

Norm and Loraine were some of the faithful who worked countless hours devoting their time and money to help the railroad in the formative years. Loraine work in the depot and helped out with the Night trains. Without them and many others the railroad would never have grown. It is sad to see another of the original memebers pass away.
They will be missed for their continued support of the railroad.
