Sometimes, good things take much longer than expected.
The White Pass & Yukon Route received July 8, 2009 here old General Electric engine 98 back from CEECO. The engine is mostly rebuilt and you may call here a new engine with now 1.400 hp. A second engine will follow soon. A great day for the WP&YR. And a sign for a long and successful future of the Scenic Railroad of the World at Alaska and Canada.
