Just a gentle reminder to any who might be interested. The Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum at Alna, Maine holds its Spring Work Session next weekend, April 29, 30 and May 1. Planned work includes continued construction of a new lead track to a proposed carhouse, completion of painting of the shop, and work on the frame of 0-4-4RT No. 9 (Portland, 1891). Depending on the level of participation, other work may also occur. Work begins at 8 a.m. and concludes around 5. All volunteers are welcome, and two meals are provided each day.
