New Galloping Goose #5 schedule

Hi everybody,
The operating schedule for Galloping Goose #5 for this year has changed recently. It is much abbreviated from what was previously anticipated. Not on the schedule are the trips to the Cumbres & Toltec in June and September and the Colorado Railroad Museum in May.
Please note that still on the schedule is the trip to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in August for Railfest.
We anticipate (and very much hope) getting the C&TS and the CRRM back onto the 2012 schedule.
In addition – and I hope we are not speaking out of turn here – there are plans in the works to get all 6 of the remaining original RGS Geese plus the replica of Motor #1 to the CRRM in Golden in mid-summer, 2012. I really hope that event happens! There are many of us RGS fans who have worked toward the goal of getting the whole “gaggle” together for years. Now, if only RGS Locomotive #20 can be back in operation there at the same time! That would be fantastic!
