Today D&RGW Chase and I were out railfanning the choctaw sub in keller. On the way back home we decided to stop by this guy's house that has a switch stand in his front yard as a mailbox. We went to his door and asked him about it and he said "I got that off of a narrow gauge line in Farmington, New Mexico." Apon hearing this Chase and I were eyes wide open jaws to the floor. We talked to him for a while and found out he had lived in Farmington for 21 years and he was workin in the oil field for Haliburton. He said the line was just a couple feet from where he was and the day they were scrapping the line he helped pull up some of the track and took the switch stand home with him.
Here are the pics.
