Colorado Railroad Museum 50th Question

Hello All

Last year some folks were kind enough to help me out with a few questions about the Colorado Railroad Museum, so here I am again...

I'm going to miss the 50th Anniversary by one day, as I'm booked on the Eastbound Zephyr out of Denver on July 10th, just my luck... I'm wondering if the folks in Golden fire up power and test at all the day before they operate, as a stop by the museum on friday is do-able.

I'd really love to see the 346 in steam and I seem to keep missing it. Last year I went to the Whistle Stop Campain event and had a great time riding and shooting the 40, as the 346 was sidelined due to the dry conditions.
