One of the most notable narrow gauge railway structures in Europe is the high Landwasser viaduct on the Meter gauge Rhaetian Railway in Switzerland. This is on a sharp curve with one end diving straight into a tunnel mouth in a vertical rockface. It is at present undergoing major repairs while remaining open to rail traffic.
