Competition for Kyle's Kink (NNG)

I noticed while chasing the UP844 over Altamont Pass today that the UP has its own version of Kyle's Kink. And for much the same reason: there was a mud slide, and it was much easier to go around it than dig through it and hope it didn't slide again. This is on the former Western Pacific, but the kink loops out into the right of way of the parallel SP line that was abandoned.
