There is a thread down below about narrow gauge trucks and I did not have my files at hand.
The Boulder City branch of the Nevada State Railroad Museum has three wooden passenger cars that were displayed for many years at some local hotel/casinos.
According to the museum's own roster pages they are:
Eureka Nevada #3 ex Eur& Palisade 3 Billmeyer & Small circa 1874
Eureka Nevada #2 ex Colusa & Lake 2 JS Hammand, SF 1887
Eureka Nevada #20 ex Colusa & Lake 4? JS Hammond, SF 1887
The 2-8-0 is is ex F&CC #10 and ex Unitah #12 both in Colorado.
the locomotive Baldwin's C/N 14771 of 1896.
The first two are listed as combines; but pictures show one is a very
crude home made coversion of a passenger car
The third car is a baggage car. All three are sitting on freight car trucks all of which are rare birds themselves.
As far as I know they are the only survivors of the Colusa & Lake RR.
Does anyone know of any other equipment from this little known (1886 to 1915) California narrow gauge line?
This museum branch down near Los Vegas is mainly 20th century standard gauge equipment. i think the museum should move these cars and the locomotive up to Carson city where the rest of their narrow gauge equipment is stored or displayed.
I do not think the museum still has the roster on its web site any more.
