I took these photos last weekend (Saturday March 28th) to show the current process with the work on putting the water tank from Keeler back together.
The first one shows all seven of the legs standing up in place waiting for the timbers, etc. One change from the original design is the rods up through the hollow cast iron legs. In the Original design the weight of the timbers, tank and water is all that kept the legs in place; we are adding tie rods from the top of the timbers to the foundations.
The second one shows the spout of the tank set up near the tank. There is a sign that tells about the spout and what it does.
Hope you enjoyed.
