What if the UP merged with the C&TS?

I saw this Sunday passing thru Giddings, TX. Sort of appropriate for today.
Giddings is converting its three old depots into an RR museum, and this was on the back of the coffee shop across the parking lot.
My questions are: Has UP merged with the C&TS?
or
Has 484 traveled south for the winter,
but has to look like this to get on UP?
