Off topic - Grampa's slides

May 17, 2009 11:34PM
I've been scanning some of my Grampa's film/slides recently and have noticed something unusual. He built two model railroads, he had family members that worked for railroads, he lived next to the SF line between Phoenix and Prescott for 30 years or so and he got me interested in railroads. You would think that there might be a shot of the occasional train somewhere. So far the only thing I have found is lots of shots with the SF ROW in the background. At least he took a few automobile shots for me to enjoy.

BTW the SF is right across the highway from this place and there is probably a train going bywinking smiley
