Here is a few photos of the main tracks through town. It is 5.5% grade at this point. The second shot was taken from the balcony of the new hotel in Alausi. The new hotel is the best in town. It is called the La Quinta and the main gate is on the street to the tracks.
42 inch gauge railroading at its best. Our Wings and Rail tour is planning on spending a day on the Devils Nose and one morning shooting our charter train in the streets here.
