Here's a set of photos of the top of Montgomery Pass. The then photo is of SP #5 & #8 just before the wreck on July 23, 1923. The photo is from Turner's "Slim Rails Through The Sand" book. The lower photo is the same location today (6/19/06). A lot has changed in 83 years...
