Just got my copy of "
A Century + 10" 2nd Edition in the mail this week. On page 270, the first three lines of the OZ builder's plate are listed, as are the first two words of the 6th line of text.
Not sure if anyone is interested, but as I have one of Industrial's builder's photos of the OZ, I can complete the text. The entire plate read:
INDUSTRIAL WORKS
BUILDERS
BAY CITY MICH.
U.S.A.
MACH. NO. 2825 1923
CAPACITY WITH JACKBEAMS
140000LBS. AT 16 FT. RADIUS
68000--- -- 25 -- -----
AUXILARY HOIST SINGLE LINE
20000LBS. AT 25 FT. RADIUS
16000--- -- X0 -- -----
Sorry for the last radius number - without digging for the magnifying lens, the "x" is either a 3,6,or 8. I will try to get a better look and post back with the number.
Hope this may help someone out there!
Josh
