(Get stuck train at Cumbres and work to Alamosa)

Depart Chama 11:20 AM
West end crew, Conductor Fry and 1 brakeman deadhead to Cumbres, the other brakeman work to Cumbres.
Arrive Cumbres 12:13 PM 2 hours 35 mintues move 15 cars out of snow near MP 328 3/4 to Cumbres and flange out Cumbres yard.
Engine 471 run light Chama to Cumbres to bring train of Jan 31 to Chama.
471 depart Chama 12:10 PM arrive Cumbres 12:45 PM
train of Jan 31 into Cumbres 1:30 PM
Engine 471 and west end train crew depart Cumbres 1:45 PM arrive Chama 12:50 PM
Brakeman, Connelly, that had stayed with stuck train goes on duty with P&F train for return to Alamosa.
Extra 464-480 depart Cumbres 2:45 PM arrive Alamosa 5:20 PM
(Unable to expain variation of car count for stuck train, entries for Jan 31 show 14 cars, Feb 1 show 15 cars.)(15 appears to be proper count, left Antonito with 33 cars set out 18 enroute)

Eagan on P&F train reported to dispatcher from Antonito 5:05 PM:
found 6 to 8 feet snow on one side in cuts Cumbres to Rock Tunnel
some bad drifts 6 to 8 feet deep MP 303 to Big Horn section house. Nothing bad east of Big Horn section house. Cleaned all tracks at Cumbres. 2 to 5 feet of snow in all sidings Chama to Osier be necessary run P&F to clean them.

operated only to Antontio and return to Alamosa.
